Dear OLA resident’s, staff, and families,
Unfortunately, this week’s COVID testing has found us with additional staff members testing positive for COVID 19. Families involved with residents who were exposed to these individuals have all been notified. We will continue testing all residents and staff twice weekly at this time, with our next testing being tomorrow, 02/1/22 from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm.
For questions/Concerns, please reach out to nursing administration.
Thank you, and please continue to do your best to stay safe, our residents are counting on us. God Bless!
Dear OLA residents and staff,
On Thursday, January 27, 2022, we will be offering a Covid-19 Booster and Flu vaccine clinic, starting at 10:00am till 1:00pm. Please call the front desk at 815-725-6631 and schedule with the receptionist. Please specify the booster manufacturer of choice so that we can share that information with the pharmacy. Thank you!
OLA is now open for visitors. Our PPE guidance for the building requires an N95 Mask and goggles that we have available at the front desk. Thank you for your cooperation at this time in keeping our building safe.
Dear OLA Community,
Unfortunately through our routine Thursday and symptomatic testing this weekend, we have had 2 residents test positive for COVID 19, as well as an additional staff member. Due to this, and as a result of the extremely high numbers in our county, we are going to ask that you refrain from in person visiting at this time. Please, for the safety of all, only visit in emergent or compassionate capacities. We will again be testing all staff and residents this Tuesday 1/11/22 and will provide more information when those results are available. Thank you, stay safe, and God Bless.
Dear OLA Residents, staff, and families,
Unfortunately our staff/resident testing has resulted in 2 additional positive results thus far. One was staff and one was a resident. Fortunately both are not showing any symptoms. All staff and residents will be routinely COVID tested over the next 14 days. All visitation to OLA at this time will be continued, but only visits in the resident rooms will be allowed. Residents on A2 and B2 will be on quarantine at this time pending further testing. We will keep you updated as we receive further guidance.
Dear OLA Community,
Communal dining will be paused at this time related to our recent COVID results. Residents will receive all meals in their rooms starting with dinner this evening. Please see the Administrator, Nursing Supervisor, or dietary staff with any questions.
Thank you !
Dear OLA Residents, staff, and family,
Yesterday’s routine staff COVID testing resulted in 1 staff member testing positive for COVID 19. Over the next 24 hours, staff and residents were all tested. Unfortunately, our first round of staff/resident testing has resulted in 2 additional positive results thus far. Both are staff members and both are fully vaccinated. All staff and residents will be routinely COVID tested over the next 14 days. All visitation to OLA at this time will be paused. Residents on A1B1 will be on quarantine at this time pending further testing. We will keep you updated as we receive further guidance. Please contact Admin/Nursing administration with questions and concerns.
