We seek a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our staff and be part of the facility leadership team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Department
  • Assure that residents receive the highest quality care
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Develop, update, and communicate nursing standards, written policies and procedures, job descriptions, and goals and objectives
  • Collaborate and partner with physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for our residents
  • Participate in leadership team decisions
  • Provide on-call support for facility

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid and unencumbered IL RN license
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
  • Three years of clinical experience in long term care
  • Thorough knowledge of IDPH regulations
  • Quality assurance/improvement and staff development experience
  • Willingness to support our mission
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate-level computer proficiency
  • Ability to work the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

This is an exempt position and the expectation is that the job will be performed to completion, typically within normal business hours which may include some evening and weekend hours.
